Attack on Ayodhya
- Emergecy was imposed in the country in 1975 and the Congress paid a heavy price for it by losing power in the next elections.
- Congress govt gave the orders for Operation Bluestar in 1984, to storm into the Golden Temple, in an attempt to crush the Khalistan movement. Succeed they did, but with a heavy price. It took more than a decade and a half for Congress to get back to power in Punjab.
- Bhagalpur in Bihar burnt literally when the Congress was in power. That led to the rise of Laloo Yadav. Congress now is trying to piggy back to power in Bihar with the help of Laloo
- Gujarat riots, which followed the Godhra train carnage, was considered to be one of the prime factors for the fall of the Vajpayee govt.
- Undertakings of the Sangh parivar, "destruction of Babri Masjid" is being undone by "terrorists" now. Gandhidham, Raghunath mandir, Ram janmbhoomi are testimony to this.
Isn't the writing on the wall clear for the politicians? Whenever, they meddle with the fragile social fabric of our country, they themselves pay a heavy price. Added to this, is the media, trying to ask every "wannabe-neta" about his personal opinion apart from the viewpoint of his political idealogy. It's not a question about which political idealogy I lean towards. It's a question of the harm that the nation is being subjected to.
It's high time they stop interfering with the social fabric of my country. It's already fractured enough & I wonder if it can withstand any longer.
All this makes me wonder, who is attacking whom.
